Oils on 16 x 20 canvas. A portrait of my friend’s daughter at 6 months old. I chose a soft lavender purple for the background to highlight her sunshine-yellow outfit and accents her beautiful blue-green eyes. This painting is especially special to me because it was my first ever portrait using oil paints. It was a profound experience for my artistic development.
